This is the story of two parents, one stubborn problem, and a lot of wobble.
The jelly aisle was broken.
Every parent knows the feeling. You pick up something colourful and fun-looking, flip it over, and there it is — an ingredient list that reads like a science experiment. Artificial colours. Numbers instead of names. Sugar content that would make a dentist wince.
We kept buying it anyway, because the kids loved it. And we kept feeling guilty about it every single time.
That guilt is where Hello Jello began.
From kitchen experiment to kids' favourite.

The breaking point
Too much sugar. Too many numbers.
After one too many jelly packets with 20g+ of sugar per serve and a rainbow of artificial colours, we decided enough was enough.

The kitchen phase
A lot of wobble. A lot of waste.
We started testing in our home kitchens. The first batches were terrible — either tasteless, the wrong texture, or somehow both. But we kept going.

Getting serious
In with the experts.
We partnered with Australian food scientists and flavour specialists. The brief: real fruit flavour, under 1g sugar per serve, no artificial anything.

Finally. A jelly worth getting excited about.
After hundreds of iterations, we nailed it — and our kids did a little dance when we brought it out. That was the moment we knew.
